Terms of Service

Also called the Terms of Use. The software license is in the EULA.

These terms are an agreement between you (and the company you sign up for) and Black Mast Marketing ("we", "us"), the maker of QuarterMaster. By creating an account or using QuarterMaster, you agree to them.

What QuarterMaster is

QuarterMaster tracks how your marketing performs and whether growth pays for itself. It shows your numbers, goals, forecasts, reports and short lessons. It is not a CRM, and it does not run ads or post for you.

Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• A Company Admin controls who at the company can use QuarterMaster and what each person can see.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

Plans and payment

• Free: your core numbers are free, with no credit card and no time limit.
• Trying everything: new accounts can use every feature free for 14 days. After that, the free features stay and the rest pause until you upgrade.
• QuarterMaster: $97 a month with 1 seat, billed monthly. Extra seats are $29 a month each.
• Consulting clients: Black Mast Marketing consulting packages include QuarterMaster seats, as set out in your consulting agreement.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.

Canceling

Paid plans run month to month. Cancel at any time and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for. We do not refund part months. Your free features and your numbers stay available after you cancel.

Your information

Your company's numbers belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run QuarterMaster for you. How we handle information is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Connected accounts

When you connect another service, you confirm you are allowed to, and you agree to that service's own terms. QuarterMaster only reads from connected accounts. If a service changes or limits what it shares, some numbers may stop updating.

Fair use

Do not misuse QuarterMaster: no attempts to break in, to read other companies' information, to overload the service, or to use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Advice and results

QuarterMaster's insights, forecasts and lessons are general guidance based on the numbers you give it. They are not financial, legal or tax advice, and we cannot promise any particular result.

Availability

We work to keep QuarterMaster running and your information safe, but the service is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error free.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for QuarterMaster in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms. Either way, you can download your data first.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state to be confirmed].
